Sweeter than honey?  Living and active?  More beautiful than gold?  Able to give guidance…healing…joy?  These are huge claims about the Word of God.  If true, they should revolutionize our lives.  We’ll examine these claims together and follow Scripture’s own path toward finding delight in its words.  At the heart of this subject we will find Jesus, the living Word, the one to whom all Scripture points.  Kathleen Nielson will be speaking to us about how and why we should listen to God’s Word as opposed to the many other words and voices swirling around us.

Our speaker, Kathleen Nielson, is the author of numerous Bible studies, articles and poems.  She has directed and taught women’s Bible studies at several churches, speaks extensively at conferences and retreats, and serves on the board of directors of Focus on the Family.  She holds a Ph.D. in literature from Vanderbilt University and has taught in the English departments of Vanderbilt, Bethel College and Wheaton College.  Kathleen is the wife of Dr. Niel Nielson, president of Covenant College, and the mother of three sons.

Check-in will be at 3:00 pm Friday, Feb. 20with the conference beginning at 4:00. We will end Saturday with lunch at 1:30.
