The Word of God is our source of authority.
It is through the Word that we become “wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ” (2 Tim. 3:15).
When we gather weekly, UCCD endeavors to read, sing, pray, preach and “see” the Bible (through the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper).
Although we value church tradition and human reason, and we stand on the shoulders of many great Christians throughout history, Scripture stands as the final authority.
